Angela Costley Harris (Alpha Beta, Purdue University) was elected National President at the 2016 National Convention. Her four-year term will end in 2020. Her long volunteer resume began in 2003 as a chapter advisor, eventually serving as a national vice president in 2008. Her dedication and love of Alpha Chi Omega and its members shows in her constant involvement throughout the years!

February 2017, Angela Costley Harris announced a new inclusive position. In the past, we had no specific policy related to transgender students. If a student qualified to participate in the Panhellenic sorority recruitment process at their university, they were eligible for consideration as a member of Alpha Chi Omega. Many chapters and campuses across the country have requested more specific guidance and have indicated their desire to have the opportunity to consider transgender women for membership.
